Fiercely Curious is a curated collective of over 45 Brooklyn based artists and designers hand-picked by curator, Erin. We showcase their work online (right here), at pop-up shows and through private studio visits (so please get in touch!).
Like all good things in life, this project started as a conversation between friends. These talented souls were recording their own stories through their art and we want to share them with you because they’re worth it and because they’re great. This is simply how Fiercely Curious was born.
We think it’s important to know where our things come from and we hope that you care to know, too. There is no better playground for creatives than right here where we brush shoulders with artists daily here in Brooklyn, NY. We’d also love for you to meet them and see the spaces where their ideas come to fruition so we’d be more than happy to book a studio visit and let you have a peek into their world, much like we have!
We strongly believe in hand made. Know the maker behind the things you use. This logo was hand-inked by Erin and the site was hand built by Tom.
If you have any questions about the site, great ideas to share with us or just want to chat, feel free to pick up the phone and give us a call at 646-535-7011 or drop us a note at hello@fiercelycurious.com. We’d love to hear from you and know what you think!
Erin received her BFA from the University of Connecticut and continued her studies at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City and at Polimoda Istituto Internazionale in Florence, Italy. She pursued a creative career in fashion design working in Italy, France and New York for Rick Owens, Celine and Diane von Furstenberg. She has her own art practice (see her work here) and is currently working on a picture book, Journey to the End of the Night. When she's not chasing her 3 year old around, she can be found photographing and meeting with artists for Fiercely Curious.
