Size: 26 x 56 x 3 Inches

Material: Hydrocal and wood

"Collecting materials, textures, and objects is the starting point for my work. I find a lot of materials in the streets; styrofoam, plastic packaging, parts of appliances, knobs, switches, wires. Some of the castings I leave intact, others I smash into fragments and reassemble. So basically I collect, stamp, cast, shatter and start all over again." - Sara Mejia Kriendler
