Don't Call It A Comeback, Baby

Original Art from Brooklyn Artists.
Hello and welcome! We launched Fiercely Curious 4 weeks ago with an initial crew of 6 artists. It's exciting to announce that today we're doubling the number of artists on the site to 12.

Don't call it a comeback!

We're a small bootstrapped two-person team in Brooklyn and the majority of the sale price goes directly to the artists. It makes us proud to try and run a business where being successful by definition means we'll have given most of our money away to the artists.

Know your maker's story.
We believe everyone has a story to tell. We've been lucky enough to gain a peek into the lives of these artists and we want to share some of their stories with you. For every single artist we've created a biography page to give you fleshy bits to sink your teeth into, chew on and savor.

Hopefully this lets you connect with the human element on the site- we're made of bytes, bits and pixels but we're all human in the end.

Book a studio visit. Stay awhile.
The door is open and there's a pot of tea brewing. Come join us as we spend time with the artists and see their colorful playgrounds that we get to play in all day long. Be the first to see their work in progress while the paint is still wet.

It's free to arrange a studio visit. What else do you have planned?

These are the 10,000 hours.
This is not your classic painting. These artists have been trained and have been working at it for years. All they do all day long is reinvent themselves - Spray paint, Photo transfers, Resins, Oils, Tape - there is no medium that goes unexploited and untested.

With the addition of Sara Lynn today we have 3 photographers on the site offering shots of the city, Americana and Scotland. Look at the world through our lens.

Ian and Pete both work in the Invisible Dog studios and they work with found materials, mostly from the streets of Brooklyn.
